Rhodium coin - 1 gram - .999 bullion

Long ago we decided not to try to compete with existing commercially available precious metals products but as we have already filled out many of the metallic elements in the periodic table, the glaring holes of some of the most intriguing and precious of the elemental metals still unfilled are becoming more obvious. We thus decided it was time to offer our customers options to obtain from us some of these other elemental metals such as gold, platinum, palladium, and rhodium.

We are offering rhodium bullion from the former Cohen Mint from Brooklyn, New York while our supplies last. Eitan Cohen produced the world's first commercially available rhodium coin back in 2009. This rhodium coin will come slabbed and sealed bearing the holographic mark as originally issued by The Cohen Mint in 2009. It has never been opened. These coins have been out of production for nearly a decade and are exceptionally rare. Rhodium is one of six platinum group metals and along with osmium and iridium are the three rarest stable elements in the earth's crust with rhenium being the fourth. Rhodium was discovered by William Hyde Wollaston in 1803 and is used in jewelry fabrication, in nuclear reactors and electrical contacts, and as a catalyst in the automotive and chemical industries. The combination of its extreme rarity and important industrial uses, have caused prices to swing wildly over the years. One such gyration occurred between 2004 and 2008 when the price rocketed from about $500 to $10,000 an ounce. We are currently in another rapidly escalating bull market from the most recent low of about $600 that was set in 2016 to it's current price as of mid January 2020 that is a bit north of $8000 per troy ounce. Who knows where the current rally will take us? Own what's rare!
